BMS HY-10 is a versatile, high-yield cementitious grout engineered for void and cavity filling, ground consolidation, and general-purpose grouting applications where rapid setting is beneficial.
With a controlled 10-minute gel time producing steady strength gains at high water-to-solids (w:s) ratios, BMS HY-10 is ideal for situations requiring fast turnaround and reduced downtime, without compromising on pumpability or strength development.
- High-Yield: Optimised w:s ratio for greater volume per tonne. Foaming version available upon request.
- Gel Time: Initial gel time of 10 minutes at 23°C and 2:1 w:s ratio.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for cavity and void filling in mining, tunnelling & civil construction applications.
- Steady Strength Gain: Reliable compressive strength development.
- Safe: Non-toxic and non-flammable.
- • Bulk void and cavity filling in civil and mining works.
- • Backfilling of mine stopes, tunnels, and underground workings.
- • Ground and fractured rock mass stabilisation.
- • Construction of cut-off walls and bulkheads.
BMS HY-10 undergoes regular in-house quality control, including uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) tests on 100 mm dry-cured cubes.
Note: These values are typical and subject to change based on manufacturing conditions. Performance-based properties, such as compressive strength, gel time, bleed, etc, are highly dependent on water-to-solids (w:s) ratios, mixer and pump types, addition of admixtures, and end-user applications and requirements.
- • 20kg paper bags (individual & palletised).
- • 1.0 and 1.2 tonne bulk bags.
- • Additional packaging options are available on request.
- • All orders include Proof of Dispatch (POD) documentation with batch identification numbers and manufacturing dates for traceability.
Shelf-Life: Best used within 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored as recommended. Grout may be fit for purpose beyond 12 months, subject to assessment of storage conditions and verification testing of grout properties.
Storage Conditions: Store unopened and undamaged packages in a cool, dry environment below 30°C. Shelf-life may decrease if exposed to high humidity, extreme temperatures, or external weather conditions.
- • Cementitious grout dust is an irritant—avoid inhalation or skin/eye contact.
- • Wear protective gloves, clothing, eye and face protection.
- • Ensure adequate ventilation during mixing and application.
- • In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with running water for 15 mins and remove contaminated clothing.
- • Always consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prior to handling or use.
- • In an emergency, contact any Poisons Information Centre (Phone: 13 11 26 within Australia).
